Volunteers
Volunteers are the life-blood of our event. Without you we would not be able to hold our Triathlon. We would welcome your support and specialized abilities if you would like to offer them to us. Volunteer Positions
- Event Set-Up
General help at the event. We will ask you to do a number of tasks from setting up tables to organizing the finish line chute.
- Packet Pick-up
Volunteers will be needed the night of the 27th to check ID's and hand out packets and do body marking. Additionally, these volunteers will be needed at morning check-in on race day.
- Transition Area
Checking athletes in and out of the transition area and providing directions and equipment security
- Swim Course
We will need a number of volunteers to count laps for our swimmers as well as manage crowd control. A number of volunteers will need to check-in swimmers and escort them to their lanes.
- Bike Course
We will have positions from helping at aid-stations to course direction and traffic control.
- Run Course
We will need LOTS of volunteers at the running aid stations, and course direction.
- Finish Line
This is a very busy place! We will need our volunteers to do everything from managing the finishing chute. Also we have positions for food preparation for our racers and refilling water jugs.
- Results Area/Race Management
We will need volunteers to manage the results and make sure of where racers are and correct problems.
- Expo Area
We will need assistance with the awards ceremony and sponsorship tents.
- Event Tear-Down
Get all the tents and tables down and transport things back and we will be ready to party!
